CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement no. 1600-2015-0129-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to the project applicant, Reclamation District 108. This proposed project involves the construction of a positive fish barrier on the downstream side of the existing Knights Landing Outfall Gates (KLOG) in the Colusa Basin Drain (CBD), as well as place a small amount of riprap on the right bank of the CBD immediately downstream of the KLOG. The project will result in permanent impacts to 0.07 acres of riverbank habitat and 0.01 acres of riparian habitat, which will be compensated by purchasing 0.08 acres of the appropriate credits at a CDFW approved mitigation bank.
