Document Description
The proposed project is the construction of a new gymnasium on the Jefferson Middle School campus. The gymnasium would be developed in the playground, at the southernmost end of the blacktop, near Carson Street. The facility would be approximately 7,500 sf, with pull-out bleachers for seating of up to 300 spectators. The gymnasium would primarily accommodate existing activities currently held at the school. Although no joint-use programs are proposed for the gymnasium, the facility would be available for community use through the Civic Center Act.
