Document Description
Eastern Municipal Water District and the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California are working with the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Mission Indians to extend imported water service to their area. Presently, the service area includes approximately 20 acres of reservation land as shown in the Proposed Service Area map attached. The Pechanga Band of Luiseno Mission Indians Extension of Existing Service Area (Project) would extend water service to approximately 459 acres of additional reservation land. The consolidated service area would be approximately 479 acres within Pechanga's commercial zone, which includes a casino, parking lot, recreation vehicle area, and golf course. Physical delivery of the imported water would be through a wheeling agreement with Rancho California Water District.
