Document Description
The proposed project comprises the following actions: general plan amendment to adopt the 2013-2021 Housing Elements. Revise the Highest Density Residential land use designation to permit condos. Revise the Mixed Use Planning Area discussion to: change the name to mixed use area; expand the definition of uses and intent of the MUA. Change the land use designation and zone classification of approximately 4,480 acres to either MUA or HHDR to allow future development intended to meet the Regional House Needs Allocation. Adopt a new Highest Density Residential (R-7) zone classification to allow development consistent with the HHDR land use designation as an authorized use. Adopt a new MUA zone classification to allow development consistent with two HHDR land use designation as an authorized use. Amend Ordinance No. 348 to comply with State of California requirements.
