McFarland General Plan Safety Element Update

The project proposes an update to the City's Safety Element. The update is intended to supersede the existing Safety and Seismic Safety Element (adopted September 12, 1991) of the McFarland General Plan. The Safety Element establishes preventative and responsive policies and programs to mitigate the potential impacts associated with hazards that may affect the City of McFarland. The Safety Element addresses geologic and seismic hazards, flood hazards, fire hazards, hazardous materials, and emergency preparedness and response planning. The 2015 update of the Safety Element establishes an updated policy framework. No development is proposed or associated with the update.
