The Town of Apple Valley has decided to explore the potential acquisition of the Apple Valley Ranchos Water System from Park Water Company / Apple Valley Ranchos Water Company including all associated assets, including, but not limited to: water systems and production wells, as defined in Section 240 of the California Public Utilities Code; utility plants; water rights; water supply contracts; and records, books, and accounts. The proposed Project therefore involves the Town's potential acquisition and subsequent operation of the Apple Valley Ranchos Water System. There are several options for management of the system including, but not limited to, management by the Town, a qualified private contractor or public agency.
