Document Description
The request is for a Coastal Development Permit with Hearing (Case No. 14CDH-00000-00015) to allow for the construction of a new 2,496 sf single family dwelling, with a 550 sf attached garage, an approximately 279 sf combined swimming pool and spa, and a 360 sf detached accessory storage structure. The project also includes a backup generator, a new entry gate and fencing (both under six feet in height), a septic tank and dry wells, a ground mounted solar array, a buried liquid propane tank and landscaping, hardscaping and access improvements. The project would require 1,915 cubic yards of cut and 200 cubic yards of fill. No native protected trees would be removed as a part of the project. The parcel would be served by a private septic and private water well, subject to review and approval of EHS permits. Fire protection would be provided by the Santa Barbara County Fire Department. Access would continue to be provided off of a private access road taken from Segundo Road, which is a private road off of Hollister Ranch Road.
