The project is a Major Use Permit to construct a 4.0 Megawatt solar energy facility. The project consists of one phase covering approximately 18.3 acres and includes solar modules mounted on a fixed tilt system with a maximum height of 11.5 feet, inverters, AC switchgear, medium voltage transformers, and other associated equipment. The project also includes a 24-foot perimeter access driveway and will be surrounded by a 8-foot tall fence. The project site is located at the northwest corner of Creelman Lane and Ashely Road (portion of APN 284-340-35) in the Ramona Community Planning area, within unincorporated San Diego County. The site is subject to the General Plan Land Use Designation Public Semi-Public Lands.
