- The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2014-0217-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, City of Barstow. The project includes construction improvements to the existing storm water drainage system (Project). The construction includes levees to direct runoff into a detention basin along the west side of Santa Catalina Avenue. Various activities will be implemented including construction of a detention basin, gutters, concrete sidewalks, concrete spill ways, masonry walls, grout rip-rap (approximately 36-inches deep), and an eight foot tall fence.
