Document Description
The proposed project involves installation of a concrete foundation with footings for an existing tent area and two storage enclosure's at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina (Sheraton). The purpose of the proposed project is to make the existing tent, which is considered temporary (use is 180 days or less) by the new (as of January 2015) Califonria Fire Code 2013 Edition, comply with the San Diego City Fire Department ordinance that requires this tent to be taken down and moved every six months (180 days). The installation of the concrete foundation and footings will allow the tent to be moved by 20 feet, and is a solution that will enhance the structural integrity of the anchoring system for the tent and prevent frequent penetration of the ground each time the tent is taken up and down.
