The project is located in a rural area with scattered rural residences. The intent is to place a new well as close to the existing well as feasible. The existing well is drying up and in danger of no longer being able to support the domestic needs of the camp. The existing well is located just south of the main cluster of buildings shown on the project area map, west of he paved road, and across from the sewage disposal ponds.
