Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2015-0063-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Humboldt County Public Works Dept. (Permittee) as represented by Mr. Arthur Reeve. Project consists of one stream encroachment to repair an existing low-water summer vehicular bridge that crosses the Eel River (approx. 450 ft. long), which recently was closed to all traffic due to the instability and unsafe conditions of the bridge. The repair work is needed to bring the bridge up to load standards, and provide safe public access and emergency services to the Larabee community, farms, ranches, and timberlands on the east side of the Eel River in until a new bridge can be built. The project will repair or replace weakened portions of the timber piles, bent caps, and support beams, and patch sections of the deteriorating concrete deck.
