Project is limited to the following: removal of a concrete flow restriction/gate at the upstream end of the seasonal creek; construction of an ADA compliant wooden pedestrian bridge across the creek; re-contouring of undercut and eroded sections of creek bank; installation of four small straw bale checks dams and planting of native vegetation such as willows , to assist in sediment accumulation to counteract head cutting within a section of the creek.
Restore a natural seasonal tributary to Shingle Creek by reshaping eroded and head cut creek banks cause by excessive livestock grazing, replanting native willows along the creek to create riparian habitat and stabilize reshaped banks and remove an artificial water flow control structure to re-establish natural seasonal flows within the creek channel.
