Document Description
The purpose of the project is to provide a fuel reduction zone adjacent to homes and properties along the eastern perimeter of portions of the unincorporated community of Campo, located in southeastern San Diego County. This project will also provide protection for two water tanks located along Floriosa Road. This project will incorporate properties owned by the County of San Diego, and private landowners. The intent of this project is to reduce a potential fire's intensity thus providing enhanced suppression opportunities, and decrease the threat of fire originating from the adjacent urban area. Fuels within the project area have no recorded fire history within the last 50 years.
