Document Description
The proposed project is National Maritime Day, which will take place on May 22, 2015. National Maritime Day was established to recognize the men and women of the U.S. merchant Marine and the other maritime industry workers that have transported cargo and defended the United States since 1775. As part of National Maritime Day, the District will celebrate the maritime industry with public bus and boat tours of the terminals, a live morning broadcast, a movie at Pepper Park, and other promotions.
