Document Description
The project involves the distribution of recycled water to commercial and private individuals as regulated by the SWRCB Order WQ 2014-0090-DWQ, SWRCB Division of Drinking Water and CA Code of Regulations Titles 22 and 17. Specifically, the project will construct a self-serve filling station for qualified Users to obtain recycled water for approved uses and connection by commercial or industrial users for process and irrigation purposes as approved by the City in conjunction with Title 22. The purpose of this project is to utilize recycled water in lieu of potable water supplies for industrial, construction and landscape irrigation and other approved uses as determined by the City consistent with Title 22 requirements. This project will benefit the regions groundwater supplies through reduced use of potable water for non-drinking water needs and allow for the beneficial reuse of recycled water.
