VSPUD conducted an Alternatives Analysis to evaluate long-term, reliable, alternative wastewater treatment and disposal options in light of the recent events, concerns, and needs that indicate that existing wastewater facilities may not be adequate. The recommended option is to relocate the wastewater treatment facilities. This land is known as the Coe Property and is located approx. 1.5 miles north of the existing WWTP. This site is free of the constraints and problems associated with the existing WWTP site, and is capable of serving reasonable planned growth within the community.
