Document Description
The City proposes to update the Housing Element of the General Plan as mandated by Government Code Sections 65580-65589. In compliance with State Housing Element law, the proposed 2023-2031 Housing Element consists of identification and analysis of existing and projected housing needs and a statement of goals, policies, quantified objectives, financial resources, and scheduled programs for the preservation, improvement, and development of housing. The project also includes implementation of the Housing Element, including the creation of the Alhambra Avenue Overlay and Community Services Overlay Districts.
