Document Description
The Berry Street Bridge Replacement Project includes replacing the existing Berry Street Bridge that crosses the Napa River, widening the bridge approaches, and realign the intersection of Berry Street and Washington Street. The Proposed Project includes the construction of an approximately 80-foot long and 55-foot wide single-span bridge. New abutments would also be installed farther up the channel bank to improve the hydraulic conveyance capacity at the bridge site. The intersection improvements include 93 feet to the west and 80 feet to the east on Washington Street. Berry Street will have a light horizontal curve through the bridge, which will shorten the bridge span. This alignment will require a small right-of-way acquisition from the City owned parcel at the southeast corner of the Berry Street/Washington Street intersection.
