The project includes replacing fish ladders, upgrading fish screens and bypass pipes and implementing improvements at both sites while addressing the water needs of the landowners and owners of the infrastructure. The Project will improve anadromous fish passage upstream (through fish ladder replacement) and downstream (with fish screen/bypass pipe upgrades) of the project sites. The project is funded by the USFWS Anadromous Fisheries Restoration Program. The USFWS is the lead agency under NEPA. The Central Valley Regional Water Control Board is the lead agency for the project under CEQA.
