Document Description
The CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0087-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Contra Costa County Public Works Dept. as represented by Mr. Steve Kowalewski. Project is limited to pavement widening along 1,000 linear feet of Alhambra Valley Road that will consist of four foot wide paved shoulders on both sides of the road. The Project will result in the removal of two-native, non-riparian cottonwoods as well as the removal of 2,200 cubic yards of soil that will be hauled off site. Approx. 200 cubic yards of soil shall remain on-site and be used to fill vertical areas along the road. The Project will also result in the widening of Alhambra Valley Road along 360 linear feet. The widening will include an increase of four feet on both sides of the road for the installation of paved shoulders. The existing culvert at this location shall be replaced with a 86 foot long, 42 inch diameter corrugated metal pipe reinforced with concrete.
