Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0242-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, California Department of Water Resources, as represented by Mitra Emami. The following will occur at all seven (7) locations: Remnant levee will be excavated and recontoured and any remaining material will be hauled offsite. Toe roads will be created by compacting earth adjacent to the base of the setback levee. At LM 2.4L, LM 2.8L, LM 3.4L, LM 3.9L, and LM 4.2L the downstream end of the setback levee will be re-contoured and armored with 24" minus riprap to minimize future erosion. Trees at LM 2.4L and LM 3.4L willbe fenced off five (5) feet from the dripline and that exclusion zone will be fully avoided.
