Document Description
The Placer County Water Agency (PCWA), acting as lead agency under the CEQA, will prepare an EIR for the American River Water Rights Extension Project. The primary purpose of the project is to extend PCWA's existing Water Rights Permits 13856 and 13858 through the year 2043 to allow PCWA additional time to put water allocated under these permits to full beneficial use. The American River Water Rights Extension EIR will evaluate the environmental impacts of the project and identified alternatives.
