Document Description
Proposed project will connect the Central Galt SR 99 Interchange and Old Town by transitioning C Street Between Civic Drive and 6th Street, including median pedestrian refuges, landscaping, pavement markings, undergrounding of utilities, new historic-type streetlamps, curb realignment to turn on-street parking into planter strips, underground drainage improvements, curb realignment, crosswalk striping, and curb ramp improvements. Fourth Street streetscape and open space improvements proposed within and adjacent to the UPRR row include landscape passive gathering space, angled parking, 120 space parking lot and parallel street parking roughly between C and D Streets, site furnishings (signs, trash receptacles, pedestrian lights), improved pedestrian crossings at B, D and E streets, and curb ramp improvements.
