Document Description
Caltrans proposes to widen the shoulders on US Route 395 between the post miles (PM) of 93.4 to 95.7, Mono County, CA. In this location shoulders will be widened from two feet to eight feet, the existing metal beam guard rail (MBGR) will be removed and replaced to comply with the latest standards, a drainage dike will be installed, a steel crib wall will be constructed at post miles 93.4 and 95.1 and coasted with context sensitive stain color, the existing drainage inlets will be raised, three curves will be constructed to comply with current super elevation requirements, slopes will be stabilized at two locations by constructing anchored wire mesh and the project location will be re-vegetated with native species.
