- The applicant is requesting a General Plan Amendment and Rezone of the property from Community Commercial to High Density Residential to allow for the construction of a 180-unit, 600-bed student housing complex on three parcels totaling approx. 9.7 acres. A Planned Development application is also included in this request that would allow for the construction of the 180 units in one of two different site plan schemes. The site will also include the construction of an approx. 6,460 s.f. club house with outside volleyball and basketball courts and a swimming pool. There will be 543 parking spaces constructed in Scheme 1 and 618 parking spaces constructed in Scheme 2.
