- Project would redevelop portions of the El Camino Hospital Campus in conformance with the El Camino Medical Park Precise Plan. The site would be redeveloped with a new 2-story Behavioral Health Services building (63,000 sq. ft.) a new 7-story Integrated Medical Office Building (260,000 sq. ft.), a new 4 level parking structure adjacent to the new office building, and the expansion of an existing 4-level parking structure (North Drive Garage). The project proposes to demolish an existing one-story behavioral health building (21,300 sq. ft.), the North Addition of the Old Main hospital building (90,102 sq. ft.), and the remaining Old Main Hospital (278,371 sq. ft.), for a total of 389,773 sq. ft. of demolition. The project would result in a net reduction of ~67,000 sq. ft. of building space, and would be built in multiple phases to allow for the continuous provision of hospital services.
