Mountain View 2030 General Plan: Institutional, Zoning: P(24): El Camino Medical Park Precise Plan
Project would redevelop portions of the El Camino Hospital Campus in conformance with the El Camino Medical Park Precise Plan. The site would be redeveloped with a new 2-story Behavioral Health Services building (63,000 sq. ft.) a new 7-story Integrated Medical Office Building (260,000 sq. ft.), a new 4 level parking structure adjacent to the new office building, and the expansion of an existing 4-level parking structure (North Drive Garage). The project proposes to demolish an existing one-story behavioral health building (21,300 sq. ft.), the North Addition of the Old Main hospital building (90,102 sq. ft.), and the remaining Old Main Hospital (278,371 sq. ft.), for a total of 389,773 sq. ft. of demolition. The project would result in a net reduction of ~67,000 sq. ft. of building space, and would be built in multiple phases to allow for the continuous provision of hospital services.
