Document Description
The City of Pico Rivera is seeking to construct a street sweeper transfer facility at the existing City Operations Yard at 9633 Beverly Road. The project consists of the development of a 26-foot-long by 15-foot-wide concrete slab with three 5-foot-high perimeter walls to be developed along the northeastern perimeter of the existing Operations Yard. The open side of the concrete slab would be utilized for loading and unloading street sweeper waste material. An additional 65-foot by 60-foot area surrounding the proposed transfer facility that is currently asphalt would be paved with concrete. An 8-inch sewer line would be constructed for leachate and wastewater collection. The new sewer line would connect to the existing car wash clarifier located in the center of the Operations Yard, approximately 320 feet from the street sweeper transfer facility.
