Document Description
The proposed improvements to the Henry House site would include facilities and amenities to support the use of the site for recreation. In spring 2014, an abandoned single family residential structure at the Henry House site, was damaged due to an arson fire. The building was a significant loss, and it would be impossible to rehabilitate the structure. The City anticipates replacing the structure with a new building of approximately 5000 sf in roughly the same location. At this time, the use of the new building has not been decided, but uses under consideration include a community room, a satellite library, or offices for Parks & Leisure Services Department personnel.
