Document Description
The proposed project would replace the Travers Creek Bridge on Lincoln Avenue. The existing two lane timber bridge would be replaced with a two lane concrete box culvert with approach railing. The existing single span timber stinger structure is 20 feet in length and 24 feet in width with concrete piers and abutments founded on spread footings. The proposed culvert is a 36 foot long, 34 foot wide three span concrete box culvert. The existing bridge is structurally deficient and will be replaced with a culvert that meets current standards. The approaches would not be widened but could be improved up to 200 feet in length on either side of the proposed culvert.
