This project will demonstrate a gradual oxidizing technology for generation for electricity from low quality landfill gas. A 250 kW gradual oxidizing gas turbine system will be installed and operated at a closed landfill, Santiago Canyon landfill in Orange, CA, to produce renewable electricity from low quality landfill gas that would otherwise be flared.
