Document Description
District proposes to conduct a whole site modernization of the existing Adams ES campus. The proposed whole site modernization would include the removal of bungalows and replacing them with a new two story building to house the San Diego Global Vision Academy Charter along the west end of the campus, demolition of the existing Multipurpose building and constructing new "early learning" single story classrooms, and construction of a new Multipurpose building adjacent to the existing library. According to the Historical Resources Evaluation Report prepared ASM Affiliates, Inc., the existing Multipurpose building was built more than 45 years ago and thus meets the age criteria for potential historical significance under CEQA.
