Document Description
This project will allow the introduction and conveyance of up to 30,000 acre-feet (AF) of groundwater into the San Luis Canal for use within Westlands Water District's service area. Groundwater conveyed in the aqueduct will be delivered within Westlands on pattern and will not be stored. Groundwater wells that pump water into the San Luis Canal will meet water quality standards established by the Department of Water Resources. Each well will be tested at regular intervals to ensure that the water delivered into the San Luis Canal meets applicable standards.
