Document Description
The purpose of this project is to design, deploy, and test a demonstration mobile biomass gasifier technology that can convert forest slash biomass into on demand renewable energy. The results of the demonstration will be analyzed to determine (1) optimal siting to enhance grid stability, (2) impact of monetizing current forest waste as fuel on ability to increase forest thinning and lower wildfire risk, and (3) impact of increased thinning on availability of hydrological resources. The proposed project is a pilot demonstration of a containerize biomass gasification power plant.
