Document Description
This project will close and restore a short portion of trail that connects Long Canyon Road to Olive Orchard Road. The trail is incised and roughly 12 feet wide. The soil at the site is derived from heavily weathered granite and erodes readily without adequate trail drainage features. Due to the amount of incision, the trail cannot shed water and will continue to down cut as a result. Additionally, the trail is not necessary or unique to the trail system as a whole, thus little of the recreational aspects is impacted.
