Document Description
A number of the District's water supply wells have been unusable due to regulations enacted in July of 2014 that established a new threshold for hexavalent chromium in drinking water. The project includes modification of the pump and motor installation at one of these supply well (Well 27) in an effort to reduce the haxavalent chromium (Cr6) concentrations in produced well water. An inflatable packer will be installed above the pump and between two distinct screen zones within the well.
