Document Description
CDFW proposes to construct approx. 2 miles of exclosure fence along the southern property boundary of the CDFW owned Buttermilk Country Wildlife Area. The fence will be built to wildlife friendly specifications. The project will include clearing of woody vegetation along fence lines. The purpose of this project is to prevent potential livestock trespass onto state owned land including springs and riparian habitats and to clearly demarcate the boundaries of the Wildlife Area. Vehicle gates as well as signage will be installed at key points on the Wildlife Area.
