Caltrans is proposing to replace the Weigh-in-Motion (WIM) system cabinet and sensors with new equipment. The WIM station is used to collect data that the Federal Highway Administration requires for Caltrans to obtain federal funding. The WIM station has outlived its service life and is in need of replacement.
