Document Description
This Project involves a series of exchanges in order for Kern-Tulare Water District (Kern-Tulare) to recover and take delivery of within its boundaries approximately 9,000 AF of previously banked CVP water in West Kern Water Distirct (West Kern). This stored water would be recovered and transferred into storage in San Luis Reservoir (SLR) by (i) improvement District (Rosedale) and 2,000 AF of previously banked CVP water in West Kern Water District (West Kern). This stored water would be recovered and transferred into storage in San Luis Reservoir (SLR) by (i) improvement District No. 4 of the Kern County water Agency (ID#4) using a combination of 2014 carryover, over 2015 Table A water and/or water previously extracted from Rosedale that has been backed into SLR, for a total of approximately 9,000 AF, and (II) West Kern utilizing approximately 2,000 AF that it has been backed extracted from its wells and backed into SLR.
