Document Description
The La Paz Channel, where it passes by the South Orange County Wastewater Authority 3A Treatment Plant, is heavily vegetated with both native and non-native vegetation. This vegetation is limiting the carrying capacity of the channel and causing the channel to overflow during peak flows. When the channel overflows, it floods the Camino Capistrano Road and driveway to 3A Treatment Plant preventing access to and from the facilty. The purpose of the project is to remove non-native and a limited amount of native vegetation with hand-labor from approximately 4 acres of the La Paz Channel to prevent the channel overflowing during peak flows and maintain access to the 3A Treatment Plant.
