Document Description
The proposed project would improve the energy efficiency of the existing State owned office building which was originally constructed in 1912, and renovated in 1999. The project would include retrofit of lighting fixtures throughout the building with high efficiency LED fixtures, replacement of all three existing chillers with new high chillers, energy management system replacement and retro-commissioning efforts for all controlled energy consuming building systems, and replacement of the existing domestic hot water boiler with an instant hot water furnace. Decorative and/or historic lighting fixtures, most of which are located in the lobby and emergency stairways, shall be preserved and will not be tampered with or altered in any way.
