Project proposes to replace the natural turf on the existing football/soccer, baseball, and multi-use field located adjacent to the baseball field with synthetic turf. Proposed related field improvements include construction of an eight-lane all-weather track, d-zone and long-jump at the football/soccer field, synthetic turf bullpens at the baseball field, and a shot put and discus pad at the multi-use field adjacent to the baseball field. Other improvements may include new or reconstructed dugouts, bleachers, batting cages, storage buildings, restrooms and concession buildings, scoreboards, and/or ticket booths. Project construction would start April 15, 2015, and is scheduled to take approx. 6 months to complete.
