Document Description
The capacity of the existing water tanks is insufficient, and the Hermit Springs Fire Station has run out of water the past few seasons. Two additional 5,000 gallon cement tanks will be constructed immediately adjacent to the existing tanks. The tanks will be approximately 10 feet in diameter by 12 feet tall. The project will consist of preparing a pad for the tanks using a backhoe for approx. one half day. The tank form will then be placed with a backhoe and cement trucks used to pour the tanks. Some minor trenching will be necessary to connect the tanks to the existing system. The project is expected to take approx. two weeks.
