Document Description
DWR will obtain from the Port of West Sacramento approx. 293.94 acres of property on the southern third of Prospect Island, 99.66 acres along the western edge of the northern portion of Prospect Island (19.41 acres in fee and 80.25 acres of spoil easements), and 139.83 acres of property on Decker Island. The purpose of said acquisition is possible habitat restoration. DWR will obtain the land and maintain it under existing conditions until it develops a habitat restoration plan and CEQA analysis for that plan that would focus on providing additional habitat and food web productivity to support native fish species of concern.
