The draft Housing Element is designed to address the projected housing needs of current and future residents in compliance with state law through 2023. The Housing Element serves as the City's policy document for guiding the provision of future housing needs for all economic segments of Dixon. The draft Housing Element meets the City regional housing needs (197 new units) allocation (RHNA) assigned to the City of the Association of Bay Area Governments. The City will fulfill its RHNA requirements using approved or already constructed new units or underutilized residentially zoned land.
