Document Description
This project includes eight types of stream maintenance activities at three locations (a total of six sites). All of these activities will occur within stormwater basins, ditches, culverts, and non-modified natural creeks in the City of Livermore’s Stream Maintenance Program Area.
One of the projects will entail sediment management, four of the projects will involve vegetation management, and the remaining six projects will involve a combination of sediment and vegetation management activities
The project will result in a total of 0.412 acre of impacts to California tiger salamander (Ambystoma californiense) habitat including temporary impacts to 0.411 acre; the project will permanently remove 0.001 acre of California tiger salamander habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of California tiger salamander, which is designated as a threatened species under CESA. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
