Document Description
The proposed project is to clean up groundwater at the ILM site, located in the City of Los Angeles (adjacent to the City of Torrance) in Los Angeles County, California. The proposed cleanup includes active treatment on-site of areas where concentrated contaminant mass is present in unsaturated zone soils and the water table aquifer present beneath the site. Active treatment includes installing remediation wells, constructing and permitting vapor and/or groundwater treatment systems, and associated pumps, piping, and other infrastructure. Active treatment would continue until performance-based goals are achieved. Residual groundwater impacts would then be addressed by Monitored Natural Attenuation.
