Document Description
The Approved Project involved development and operation of Legacy Academy, including magnet STEM 6-8 school, magnet STEM 9-12 school, alternative education, and district administrative office on the 40.03-acre Legacy Academy site. Development of Legacy Academy was to occur in multiple phases. TUSD is now proposing a possible switch of Phase II (construction of school facilities serving 6 through 8 students) with Phase III (construction of school facilities serving 9 through 12 students). The District also proposes to shift all site preparation and improvement responsibilities, including implementation of mitigation measures related to site improvements, previously required of the City of Tustin/Developer to the District. All other components of the Approved Project would not change. No modifications to the Heritage K-5 school is proposed.
