Caltrans is proposing to widen the existing roadbed to provide a 4-foot median buffer and 8-foot shoulders, and install rumble strips on the centerline and shoulders, on a portion of the United States Highway 395, from 2.5 miles north of Kramer Hills to just south of the SR-58 intersection (PM 39.0 to PM 45.9), in a portion of unincorporated San Bernardino County, CA. Additionally, the proposed project would restore the passing lanes on northbound and southbound portions of US-395 between PM 39.0 and 42.7 that were removed in conjunction with completion of an interim project in 2014.
