Document Description
The Project consists of three components: 1) Adaptive reuse of the Sears Building; 2) Parking Structure on Rio Vista Avenue; and 3) 12th Street Vacation. The Site contains the Sears Building and adjacent surface parking lots. The Project would convert existing vacant space into 1,030 Joint Living and Work Quarters (JLWQ); 219,258 sf general office; 31,285 sf supermarket; 26,070 sf high-turnover restaurant; 15,642 sf drinking place; 15,642 sf apparel store; 2,607 sf coffee shop; and 2,607 sf walk-in bank. An additional 230,000 sf of vacant space would be removed to create light wells into the interior floor plates. A parking structure across Rio Vista Avenue, and south of Olympic Boulevard would be constructed containing approximately 1,500 parking spaces.
